The West Coast Chapter of Bihar Foundation has remained active since its inception, consistently organizing programmes and events that celebrate and preserve the vibrant spirit of Bihar. This year, the festival of Holi was celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy.

The Netherlands Chapter of Bihar Foundation hosted the Bihar Diwas programme, which was graced by the presence of Mr. Kumar Tuhin, Ambassador of India to the Netherlands, and featured virtual greetings from Mr. Subhas Gupta, Ambassador of Suriname.

The celebration beautifully showcased Bihar’s rich cultural heritage, history, and global contributions. A series of performances, speeches, and exhibitions highlighted the state’s vibrant traditions, art, and cuisine. The event served as a meaningful platform for the Indian diaspora in the Netherlands to reconnect with their roots and promote Bihar’s cultural legacy on the international stage.

The Inaugural Ceremony of the Bihar Foundation – Oman Chapter was held on 25th July 2025 at the Indian Social Club, Salalah, Sultanate of Oman.

His Excellency Shri G. V. Srinivas, Ambassador of India to Oman, graced the occasion and officially unveiled the logo and announced the Executive Committee of the Bihar Foundation – Oman Chapter, an initiative of the Government of Bihar.

The event was attended by the Management Committee of ISC Salalah, Executive Committee members of the Foundation, and a vibrant cultural troupe. The evening culminated in a colorful cultural dance and musical performance, reflecting the rich heritage and spirit of Bihar.

The Mahaparv Chhath was celebrated with deep devotion and enthusiasm by the Bahrain Chapter of Bihar Foundation, where numerous devotees came together to offer Arghya to the Sun, upholding age-old traditions and cultural values.

Similar celebrations took place across several countries worldwide, where the Bihari diaspora observed this sacred festival with great fervour and joy, showcasing their enduring connection to Bihar’s rich spiritual heritage.
